Shaping the 4K UHD TV Rollout
Hsieh: We’re still in the planning stage. We have plans to roll out UHD, but at the moment, we’re not ready to share that. It would be more of a 2014 product.
Dealerscope: What are the most important things you’re doing to help your retail partners promote your 4K sets, or, your most highly featured 2K sets if you’re not yet selling UHD?
Hauser: There’s a variety of help available. At one national account, we have procured some end-cap space to demonstrate everything from our Touch Pen technology to our Home Screen technology, and we’re working with reviewers to make sure they have product samples. And we have media and digital media to support the line as well.
