Verizon this week launched HomeFusion Broadband, a new service that provides high-speed, 4G LTE Internet access for the home.

The service is available starting Thursday. It is being pitched to those living in "areas with limited broadband choices."

"HomeFusion Broadband is another example of Verizon Wireless' commitment to providing our customers with the most innovative products and services," Tami Erwin, vice president and chief marketing officer, Verizon Wireless, said as part of the announcement.

"With HomeFusion Broadband, customers across the United States, in towns large and small, will have the chance to link devices to the Internet and take advantage of the speed, coverage and connectivity offered by our 4G LTE network."

The service is available in $60, $90 and $120 monthly denominations, plus a $199.99 one-time equipment fee.
