Vizio Sues LG

Vizio announced Friday that it has filed a lawsuit against LG alleging patent infringement. The suit, filed in United States District Court for the District of Maryland, alleges that LG infringed on numerous patents, related to the "manufacturing, importation and distribution" of high-definition TVs.

Vizio is seeking both an injunction to stop LG from selling the offending products, as well as damages for past infringement. LG had filed a similar suit against Vizio last fall.
