Vizio, NFL Star Launch TV Charity Effort
Vizio Tuesday announced that, along with Stevie Johnson of the Buffalo Bills, has launched a second installment of its “TDs for TVs” effort, which is meant to raise money for Johnson’s favorite charity, Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Every time Johnson scores a touchdown this year, Vizio will donate a new VIZIO 65″ M-Series Razor LED Smart TV to both a fan and a local Boys & Girls Club in that fan’s home city.
“I’m excited to kickoff another great ‘TDs for TVs’ campaign with VIZIO and am looking forward to giving back to some lucky fans and deserving kids this season,” Johnson said in a statement.
“Not only will VIZIO fans who follow my success on the field have a chance to be rewarded, but I’ll also get to support an organization that taught me to strive for success off the field. With the support of VIZIO, every time I score a touchdown, I’ll be giving a VIZIO 65″ M-Series HDTV to the local Boys & Girls Club in that city.”
