Vizio announced Wednesday that it has reached a settlement with ON Corp., which sells TVs in the U.S. under the RCA brand, of its patent disputes. As part of the deal, ON Corp. has become a licensee of Vizio's patent portfolio.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are pleased with the result of our patent licensing efforts. It further demonstrates the technical strength and value of Vizio’s patent portfolio,” Rob Brinkman, Vizio's Chief Administrative Officer, said as part of the announcement.
