Wallace Resigns From BrandsMart

Dick Wallace Wednesday announced his resignation from BrandsMart USA, a company where he spent 24 years, most recently as Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer. In his resignation letter, Wallace expressed a desire to go back to school, possibly teach, spend more time with his family and focus on his health.

Wallace will remain with the company through April 12. Randy Johnson will assume the title of chief merchandising officer, while Angus Bryan is now Senior Vice President of CE Merchandising.

“I’ve been in the Consumer Electronics Industry for more than 30 years, so I still plan to stay connected to the business and explore new business opportunities as they may arise,” Wallace wrote in the letter.

“I love BrandsMart U.S.A. and have a lot of respect for the Perlmans and the entire BrandsMart family. I am proud of what we created together over the past 24 years. Many relationships and friendships have been built during this time and I hope those continue.”
