With Super Bowl Sunday just six days away, CE retailers nationwide are gearing up for one of the biggest TV-buying weeks of the year. Among them is Walmart, which is helping customers prepare for their Super Bowl parties both on the electronics end and the culinary one.

The discount retail giant is reducing the prices on numerous big-screen HDTVs for Super Bowl week, offering $50- and $100 rollbacks on several top brands. Walmart is offering a Samsung 32-inch LCD HDTV for under $500, and a Sony Bravia 46-inch LCD TV for $1,298, plus a $100 Walmart gift card.

The chain is also offering food packages that can feed a group of ten for under $50, including $8 wing baskets and multiple varieties of chips and cookies. And with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performing at the halftime show from Tampa, Walmart is also pushing the Boss' new greatest hits CD for just $10.

I just bought a new 46 inch Samsung and love it! I was able to find a great deal on it using this site:

http://www.zingsale.com

It's a free service that tracks prices of products from online stores (like amazon) and sends you an email when the price drops. I also used it over holidays to save on a new GPS for the car
