Nearly a quarter of current smartphone owners are planning to purchase the iPhone 4S, including 44 percent of those with an iPhone 3G or 3GS and 42 percent of iPhone 4 owners. That's according to
a survey released Thursday by Retrevo. The survey also found that just 12 percent of Android owners and 24 percent of BlackBerry owners are planning to make the switch to the 4S.
Retrevo also found that over half of those getting a 4S are not concerned about the difficulty of getting one, due to long lines, sell outs or delays.
And when smartphone owners were asked whether they are disappointed with the new iPhone, 71 percent said no, while 17 percent wished it had 4G capability.
