Nintendo, ahead of the release of the Wii U console, is planning to install 5,000 interactive kiosks at retail stores nationwide, including Best Buy, Target, Walmart and GameStop locations.

More than 5,000 of the interactive kiosks, featuring such games as "Nintendo Land," "New Super Mario Bros. U" and "Sing Party," will be installed this week.

The Wii U comes out Nov. 18 in North America.
