With Apple expected to announce a new version of the iPhone later this month, retailers are beginning to run out of the current version.
According to Apple Insider, Best Buy wrote a memo to employees that inventory of the iPhone 3G is running low, with some locations likely to run out completely.
Apple's developers' conference is scheduled for next week, with the company expected to introduce at least one new iPhone.
