Women in CE CEDIA Event Drew Record Crowd, Sponsors

The event at CEDIA Expo hosted by Women in CE last week broke all levels of attendance and sponsorship support, the organizers announced Thursday.

The fifth annual event was attended by 220 participants, who listened to speeches from keynoter Nicole Mangina and Volunteer of the Year Award winner Krista Bergman.

“We look forward every year to our CEDIA EXPO event, and this year’s breakfast surpassed all expectations in terms of attendance, community, and empowerment for our members,” Carol Campbell, founder of Women in CE and publisher of Technology Integrator, said in a statement.

“It was a privilege to see so many members and guests turn out in support of our Volunteer of the Year, as well as listen to the thoughtful, insightful, and high-energy keynote delivered by Nicole Mangina. None of this would be possible without the continued support of our event sponsors, and we are grateful for their contributions.”

Sponsors of the event included Monster, ATON, BlueBOLT, Chief, Core Brands, Consumer Technology Publishing Group (CTPG), Crestron, DA-LITE, Dealerscope, ELAN, EPSON, Furman, Niles, Panamax, Proficient, Sanus, SpeakerCraft, Sunfire, Technology Integrator, Xantech, The Davinci Group, Bedrock Learning, Home Entertainment Source (HES), Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), IAV Light Speaker, Leviton, Metra, Nuvo, Specialty Electronics Nationwide (SEN), Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA), InGear PR, Totem Acoustics, Lutron, and Tivoli Audio.

Women in CE’s next event is the fifth annual Women in CE Legacy Awards Networking Reception, during 2014 International CES, on Jan. 7.
