iPhone Likely Coming to Best Buy

Having been sold exclusively at AT&T and Apple Store retail outlets for its first six weeks of existence, the iPhone will soon start appearing at other stores, including Best Buy, the Web site AppleInsider reported late Friday.

Citing “people familiar with the matter,” the site said that Best Buy will begin carrying the device in September or October, expanding the newly cordial relationship between the retail giant and Apple. According to AppleInsider, the pilot project to place Macs and other Apple products in Best Buy store will be expanded to 300 by the end of the year.
