NuVision Introduces Ten New HDTVs

NuVision announced last week that it will release ten different Lucidium LCD HDTVs in sizes ranging from 22- to 65 inches. Five of the models have already shipped, with the remainder to come in the second quarter of this year.

The models shipping now include TVs in the 42-, 47- and 52-inch denominations, as well as “Deep Black” LCD TVs of 22- and 32-inch sizes. Other models, including a 65-inch TV featuring Silicon Optix Realta HQV image processing, are set to arrive later this spring.

The products range in price from $749 for the 22-inch TV to $11,999 for the 65-inch model.

New York EDGE, a member EDGE Distributors Group, held a dealer line show on Long Island March 6-9, which was attended by 40 dealers.

All items in the line include the company’s Digital Switching Deep Black and Deep Color Spectrum systems, which adjust LCD backlight to greater further image depth. They also include the company’s NuControl port, for use by custom integrators.
