Contacts: Ed Kasza, The Little Guys (Glenwood, IL)
February 19, 2009 From Contacts
For all his self-deprecating humor and understated, workmanlike charm, Ed Kasza is, quantifiably, one hell of a salesman. Shop Talk: Chris Westfall, National Director of Residential Sales for AMX
June 2008 From Shop Talk
“The people who buy AMX systems can afford $4 a gallon for gas, but they still don’t want to be wasteful. They are concerned about the environment, especially their personal environment, so approach it on a personal scale instead of a macro scale...ask them, ‘Do you want me to set a trigger if water or energy usage goes over a certain level every month?’ Start with a broad concept, but make it personal.” -Chris Westfall, AMX National Director of Residential Sales

New Products Help Adjustment to Housing Slump
November 2007 From News
“The real estate situation has had a definite impact here.” So said Wilshire Home Entertainment president Mike McMaster, a local L.A.-area hybrid custom retailer who offered the understatement as he was buttonholed in the corridors of the Long Beach EH Expo. McMaster’s remark was in sync with stats presented at a morning seminar that showed West Coast housing starts January through September down 27.1 percent – more than in the Midwest (-26.5 percent), South (-25.7 percent) and Northeast (-14.5 percent).
