The car radio manufacturer Blaupunkt has announced the shipping of its latest product, the San Diego mp27 car radio. The receiver plays both standard and mp3-encoded CDs, and plays up to 10 hours of music on a single CD. The radio is also compatible with the company’s iPod interface. The company, which is affiliated with Bosch, will sell the product at a suggested retail price of $149.95. No placement deals with car manufacturers have yet been announced.
