Video: Intel Demos New Convertible Ultrabooks from Lenovo and Dell

First, the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga model is more than a standard 'clam-shell' notebook computer. With hyper-extending hinges, the machine's screen bends all the way back, deactivating the keyboard and mouse pad, transforming itself into a touch-screen tablet PC.

The new Dell XPS Duo Ultrabook model features a swiveling screen, which easily rotates backwards 180 degrees, creating a tablet device when closed over the keyboard. This is just another creative design that makes it possible to transform your laptop into a tablet.

As Mr. Kister suggests, Ultrabooks can be great gifts for not just students or business professionals, but for anyone who desires to have both laptop and tablet functionality.
