Sachs Report March Survey
Time to gather around the fireplace with friends and family and take the Sachs Report Survey for this month. Once again, this is your opportunity to have your voice be heard.
After what has now become three years of debate, we still are not offering free broadband in the United States. As far as I know, AWS-3 remains available for auction and the rule would be that 25 percent of the space would have to be used to offer free broadband. The remaining spectrum may be sold for upgrades for faster speeds and such.
As of March 3, 2010, the FCC said they would also like to have a Digital Literacy Corps of volunteers to help U.S. residents get online as part of a national broadband plan. Would this be considered a “green” job? No, no wait, these would be volunteers so it may not be considered a job at all. Hmm?
