Panasonic has kicked off a seven-week major-market tour to showcase its 3D, digital imaging, home appliance and personal care products in the framework of its sponsorship of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The tour, which visited New York City’s heavily trafficked Grand Central Terminal this week, is relying on the synergistic value of both hands-on experience with Panasonic products and the viral nature of social media tools like Facebook and Twitter to get the word out, said New York exhibit manager Jennifer Morgan.
Here’s a quick walk-through of the booth, which will be at the Terminal through April 27. The tour began in Boston April 11 and will travel to 13 cities all told, wrapping up in Atlanta May 27. Click twice on the images to enlarge them. (Photos and text: Nancy Klosek)
