I am tasked with keeping up with our products on Amazon, and this is becoming a huge problem. I have made almost a dozen purchases in the last two months that have never shipped, all with popular products at too good to be true prices. Now, I know that these are scams, and I am playing the system to see how it ends up. In the end, Amazon covers it, but you get strung along for a long time before they do. In the meantime, legitimate marketplace sellers have to put up with this stuff creating downward pressure on pricing. Most are smart enough not to take the bait, but not all.
