Xoom LTE Launch Delayed
Motorola said Thursday that the 4G LTE version of the Xoom has been delayed from spring to summer. The delayed Droid Bionic smartphone will arrive in the summer as well.
The company also said that it sold 250,000 of the Xoom during the quarter, and that Sprint will soon begin selling the Wi-Fi version of the device.
The news came as Motorola Mobility announced its earnings for the quarter. The company posted an $81 million loss, which was down from the $212 million loss of the same time a year ago.
