Expect the Unexpected at International CES
Hawaii is not the only remote state with attendees. Alaska retailers Spencer Richardson of Distinctive Ride in Wasilla and John Schwartz of Perfectionist Auto Sound & Security in Anchorage are among the many from the 49th US State that’ll be attending. Like many retailers in cold climates, they’ll be balancing the time spent in Las Vegas with a busy remote starter season, so a productive CES visit is important.
A special reminder to 12 volt retailers; don’t forget to visit the Memphis Car Audio booth (N2211 between JVC and Metra) for free beer at the tail end of the show days. It’s a Memphis tradition that all 12 volt folks appreciate.
Research New Vehicles Firsthand
With more car manufacturers than ever attending CES, this is a close-proximity opportunity to sit in and experience what new technology prevails in today’s newest cars. Notable exhibiting car companies in the North Hall include Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Kia, Hyundai, Chrysler, Ford, Chevrolet and Lexus. Pick up literature, learn the cost of the trim level packages and determine strategies right then and there to locate integration products or alternatives to the higher optioned packages such as reverse cameras/sensors, Bluetooth hands-free functionality, iPod integration, satellite radio, navigation system additions and more.
