Circuit City Congressional Hearing Postponed
A Congressional hearing scheduled to take place Tuesday in relation to Circuit City's bankruptcy was postponed due to severe weather in Washington.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch the hearing, before the House Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law, was to look into how Circuit City's bankruptcy was affected by the change in federal bankruptcy laws passed four years ago.
The hearing was to be called "Circuit City Unplugged: Why did Chapter 11 fail to save 34,000 jobs." It has yet to be rescheduled.
