NRF Chief to Retire
A day after the National Retail Federation announced that it will merger with the Retail Industry Leaders Association, the NRF's president, Tracy Mullin, announced that she will step down at the end of this year.
Mullin had been president and CEO of the group since 1993, and orchestrated NRF's headquarters move to Washington from New York in the 1990s.
“I will never lose my love of retailing, and it’s bittersweet to move on,” Mullin wrote in a letter to the group's membership. “After assisting NRF through this transition period, I look forward to tackling some new projects and embarking on new adventures.”
