Talking to the Customer
As retailers, you look for ways to offer better customer service, reinforce upselling, improve accessory attachments and reduce returns. Those who have seen my new book, “Home Theater Made Simple,” an easy-to-read guide for the average customer, believe it is a great tool to increase sales and lessen confusion—the most common reason for returns.
Covering all aspects of home theater, the book was developed in collaboration with Monster Cable, which is distributing the book in time for the holidays. There are over 400 illustrations, product photos and cartoons to help the reader relate to the information. Short explanations guide the consumer to gather information about their homes and viewing habits to help them make the right buying decisions including what they need to know when choosing store or custom installation.
Topics in the book range from a “recipe for home theater” to choosing connections and hookups to how IPTV works. It is also filled with tips and definitions to guide home theater buying, setup and use.
