Three Arrested in Alabama Thefts
Three suspects were arrested this week in a series of thefts that took place last January. According to the Dothan Eagle newspaper, merchandise and gift cards were stolen from numerous stores, including Sears, Lowes, Planet AT&T, Kmart and WalMart, over the two-day period. All were charged with multiple counts of felony theft.
Man Arrested For Selling Stolen Electronics Online
An Idaho man has been arrested for stealing a large amount of electronics equipment and selling it on CraigsList. According to the Idaho Press-Tribune, the 30-year-old man was charged with grand theft and possession of stolen property for stealing between $15,000 and $25,000 worth of property, using public computers.
Man Stole Headphones From Bose
A member of a store cleaning crew at a Bose electronics store in Park City, Utah, has pled guilty to stealing a pair of high-end headphones from the store. According to the Park Record, the man used a cleaning bucket to carry out the theft. He pled to one count of misdemeanor theft, and agreed to pay a $400 fine and $2,045 in restitution in order to avoid jail time.
