At LG’s line show yesterday, dealers were surprised to learn that Bob Perry, vice president of sales for LG Electronics North America, has left the company. But that was all the company would say. No other details were released other than that he left the company to pursue other interests. Perry has made a name for himself in the industry, long before he was even with LG, where he as been for three years, after a stint at Mitsubishi. Some dealers at the show reacted negatively to the news, but others expressed that they were not concerned.
Other highlights from the line show:
- Michael Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics North America, announced that LG’s brand awareness was at 75 percent, up from 33 percent a few years ago.
