According to a survey released this week by iSuppli Corp, more than half of U.S. consumers buying LCD TVs said that environmental issues "influenced their decision" of which TV to buy.
The question was asked in iSuppli's monthly U.S. TV Consumer Preference Analysis survey.
“More than half of U.S. LCD-TV buyers are paying attention to environmental features, making ‘green’ a key selling point that needs to be highlighted wherever possible in branding and marketing efforts,” director of monitors and sustainability for iSuppli Corp., Rhoda Alexander, said as part of the announcement.
