AEE Drone Now Available at DICK’s Sporting Goods Stores
One of the underrated hot tech items this holiday season has to be the consumer drone. The market for the devices is on the verge of booming, even as lawmakers on the local and national level look to increase regulations around the tech.
Looking to capitalize on the impending boom, AEE Technology announced that it will make its AP9 personal drone available through DICK’s Sporting Goods this holiday season. The AP9 will be in 530 stores across the U.S.
AEE said its AP9 consumer-grade drone is a quad-rotor remote control helicopter that acts as an aerial platform for a GoPro HERO and AEE action camera. The drone is considered an entry-level product for a variety of potential users, from RC aircraft hobbyists to videographers and photographers looking to open up a whole new range of shooting possibilities. The AP9 comes with a 3S 5300mAh battery and an improved prop design that allows for flying time of about 25 minutes, according to AEE.
