After months and months of rumors, Apple is finally set to introduce its "latest creation"

After months and months of rumors, Apple is finally set to introduce its "latest creation," widely expected to be the new multimedia tablet device, at an event in San Francisco Wednesday.

While few concrete details are known about the product, it will reportedly feature access to the Internet, e-books, video, gaming and much more. Unknown details include the name of the device ("iPad," "iSlate," and iTablet" are among those rumored) or its release date or price point.

Apple may also announce a new edition of the iPhone Wednesday, as well as other new product announcements. The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
