After Move North, Azione Welcomes Eight Canadian Dealers
Back in June, Azione announced plans to push its expansion efforts north of the border. Now, a few short weeks after making those plans publish, the buying group announced that eight Canadian dealers have signed on as its newest members. The additions bring the total number of Azione Unlimited dealer members up to 214.
“We extended into Canada at the request of our vendors who were seeking stronger relationships with their top dealer partners,” Richard Glikes, President of Azione Unlimited, said in a statement. “The end result will be to cultivate a parallel level of success and profitability that our U.S. dealers currently receive. I'm confident that our newly added eight Canadian dealers represent an exceptionally strong core to drive that message home, and this is only the beginning.”
The newly added Canadian members include:
- Hi-Fi Centre, Vancouver, BC
- La Scala Integrated Media, Vancouver, BC
- Symphonic Residential Systems, Calgary, AB
- High Definition Technologies, Calgary, AB
- Definitive Sound, Mississauga, ON
- Design Electronics, Niagara Falls, ON
- Station Earth, Fergus, ON
- London Audio, London, ON
With the push north, Azione is actively underwriting Canadian-specific vendor programs that are intended to offer dealers in the region access to a host of services for lighting, operations, fleet demands and more. That includes programs with recently-added vendors like Maxaware and Breakthrough Lighting. Azione explained that the “carefully elected programs” will work with existing distributors and vendor representative programs.
“In creating our Canadian program, we are specifically engaging with the established market to produce an effortless transition for dealers who partner with Azione Unlimited,” Patrick McCarthy, Director of New Business Development and Member Services for Azione, said in the statement. “We understand the importance of healthy industry partnerships. We are working tirelessly to serve Canadian dealers without disruption so they can be more profitable. It's a model that has been very successful in the States and we are thrilled that it is resonating with our core of industry-leading Canadian members.”
