Logitech introduced its latest advanced universal remote Tuesday, the Harmony 670. Building on the features of the Harmony 659, the 670 is designed with DVRs like TiVo in mind. One touch activity combines your DVR, DVD player and sound system controls with easy-to-understand labels like “Watch TV,” “Listen to Music,” or “Watch Movie.” Pressing one button can perform all of the functions (switching inputs, powering up devices) needed to go from, say, listening to the “Walk the Line” soundtrack to actually watching “Walk the Line.” The new Harmony 7.0 software is included with an eye toward simplifying the online set-up and fine tuning of the remote on your PC. You can also add activities or commands via the LCD display. The Harmony 670 is available now for $149.99.
