With eight stores already in operation, a ninth store is opening by, what Pam hopes, is November—just in time for the holiday shopping season.
"It's an area that we've been wanting to be in for a long time," she explains. "It's certainly fits our demographic of upscale consumers."
Compared to Los Angeles, with a population in 2004 totalling more than 10 million, Orange County accounts for a little over three million, according to the Department of Finance, Population and Estimates. But its overall income per capita is considerably higher, with booming real estate and property values contributing to this trend.
