To remain consistent in an evolutionary marketplace, Pam says she and Casey tend to remind themselves of their father's theory about business.
"The business is always going through a metamorphosis, but the principles stay the same: You carry good quality products. You treat your customers very well. You treat your employees very well. If you do that, people will keep coming," she says. Inventory, however, must evolve.
"When you buy a plasma TV or any type of high-end flat screen, you don't want to just take it home and plug it in," she says. "Nothing is plug-and-play anymore. You have to have the right systems. You have to have the right audio and right components."
