Almo Professional A/V Dubbed National Distributor for Absen, Inc.
Ahead of this year’s AVIXA InfoComm Show taking place June 12-14 in Orlando, Florida, Almo Professional A/V has been chosen as the largest national distributor for Absen, Inc., makers of large venue LED displays. The entire line of Absen products will now be available in the U.S. through Almo Professional A/V.
“Absen is a global leader in direct view LED manufacturing – a technology that is skyrocketing for AV installations due to increased demand for high definition.” said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and COO for Almo Professional A/V. “This distribution partnership gives our resellers and integrators access to Absen products along with the ability to maintain healthy margins and highly focused pre- and post-sales support. Additionally, we have an Almo Business Development Manager on staff with expertise in this technology who is available to work with our channel community on education and design.”
The three main products that will be on display at Absen's InfoComm booth include Absenicon, Aries Series, and Acclaim Series. Absenicon was developed with meeting rooms, event spaces, and lecture theaters in mind. It boasts higher brightness, contrast, and color saturation to captivate audiences. The Aries Series is ideal for mobile and fixed indoor installations in staging/production, concerts/touring, and trade shows/events. Key features include: 4-in-1 fine pixel installation, common cathode technology, an improved PCB pad, and cable-free connectors. The Acclaim Series works best for indoor venues including hotels, casinos, shopping malls, etc. Its simple enough for easy installation but offers a brilliant bezel-free picture on convex or concave curves of up to 90 degrees.
“InfoComm presents the perfect timing to announce our exclusive national distribution partnership as we’ll provide our partners with tours of the Absen booth to showcase the newest products, including the new Absenicon line previewed at ISE and rolling out at InfoComm,” Taylor added. “Absen also has two incredible showrooms in Orlando and Ontario, which will serve as an ideal setting for future training and education sessions. And we look forward to having Absen participate in the Almo E4 Experience, coming to New York and Atlanta this fall.”
In addition to showing off the latest Absen products at InfoComm, Almo will also be celebrating an impressive 10 year milestone of providing valuable distribution services to members of the AV industry. To highlight their success, Almo Professional A/V will sponsor the InfoComm Opening Reception, cut an anniversary cake, and present a donation check to the AVIXA Michael Vergauwen Scholarship program.
“Almo’s wide distribution network is extremely beneficial to our resellers and integrators,” said James Liu, president of Absen Inc. “By providing broader coverage across the United States, we are better able to service our customers and end users. We look forward to talking about this relationship with InfoComm attendees and continuing these conversations as an exhibitor on the fall leg of the Almo E4 Experience. We consider the E4 Experience an invaluable way to exchange ideas and further connect with industry influencers.”
