Alpine Shows Largest Head Unit in the Aftermarket World
There was also a remote control car demonstrating one of Alpine's rear camera systems. The $99.95 HCE-C104 Universal Rear View Camera shows the distance to objects with color coded lines on the screen, and with the VPX-B104R VPASS Visual Parking Assistant Sensor System, automatically switches from normal to ground view when it gets close.
Alpine also showed a number of wide angle cameras, multi-view, and an option for a front expansion. Finally the HCE-C305R Active View Rear Camera System can pinpoint moving objects, offers four viewing modes, and does not use sonar so it is even easier to install. It will be available in May for $499.95.
Of course, there are new audio products as well. The PXE-H660 Sound Processor uses ImprintEQ sound tuning to calibrate the EQ and time correction per vehicle. The PXE-H660 costs $249.95, while the PXA-H800 adds 8 channels for $699.95, and can be programmed with the $249.95 RUX-C800 In-Dash Controller.
