Amazon has once again topped ForeSee’s Top 100 E-Retail Satisfaction Index, the analytics firm announced Wednesday. Amazon led the rankings with a score of 89 (out of 100), topping its 2011 score of 86.
Amazon's 89 was the highest score ever on the survey, and beat out Apple and QVC (85 each), Keurig (84), Avon (83) and L.L. Bean (83.) Of the top 100, 36 cleared the "threshold of excellence" of 80, the highest score ever.
“Amazon continues to set the standard for e-retailers. The truth is that every consumer who has visited Amazon knowingly or unknowingly benchmarks all other experiences against it, and why wouldn’t they? They do everything and they do it well,” Larry Freed, President and CEO of ForeSee and the author of the study, said as part of the announcement.
