Amazon, Best Buy Lead Customer Service Survey
Amazon.com and Best Buy came out on top in a recent survey of online electronic retailers conducted by Keynote Systems, Inc., ComputerWorld reported this week.
Retailers were ranked in nine categories, and Amazon.com led six of them. In terms of overall “customer experience,” Amazon and Best Buy tied for first, with Amazon leading price satisfaction, product research, and navigation. Best Buy led in ease of purchasing and customer support. Circuit City, meanwhile, held the lead (along with Staples) in Web site performance.
The study included ten retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, Buy.com, Circuit City, Costco, Dell, Office Depot, Sears, Staples, Target, and Wal*Mart.
