Amazon Closing Three Distribution Centers
Amazon announced Friday that will close three distribution centers. According to the Associated Press, the centers in Munster, Ind., Chambersburg, Pa., and Red Rock, Nev. will close, affecting 210 employees; the workers will have a chance to transfer to other warehouses.
Amazon has other centers in all three states.
The company also plans an addition of 300,000 square feet to a distribution facility in Arizona, which will handle flat-screen televisions and other large items.
