Amazon Leads Black Friday Traffic Rankings
Amazon.com once again led in the traffic rankings of retail Web sites on Black Friday, as companies that sell CE dominated the top ten.
According to the Experian Hitwise traffic measurement firm, as cited by InternetRetailer.com, Amazon.com led the list on Black Friday with 13.55 percent of traffic, followed by Walmart.com with 11.18 percent, Target.com with 5.65 percent, BestBuy.com with 4.62 percent and Sears.com with 2.95 percent.
Kmart was 10th, Dell 11th, Apple 17th and GameStop 20th. Amazon, Walmart and Target also held the top three spots in market share in 2008.
