Man Steals Electronics, Hat From Target
A California man was arrested last month for stealing two items- an undisclosed electronics device, and a grey hat- from a local Target. According to the Tracy Press, the man used a hunting knife to cut open the electronics product, and the fled on foot to a nearby park-and-ride, after which he was arrested. He was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing and delaying of a peace officer, burglary, possession of burglary tools, receiving known stolen property, petty theft and having a warrant for illegal possession of a vehicle key.
"Bait Car" Robbed
A "bait car" used by police to catch criminals in the act was successfully broken into last week in North Carolina. According to the Fay Observer, a thief broke into the Cumberland County Sherriff's bait car and took stereo equipment, a phone and a camera. The thief wasn't caught but a picture was taken of him.
