Analyst: 3G iPhone Coming Soon
Apple will likely release a version of the iPhone that runs on the faster 3G network by year’s end- which should significantly raise the number of the devices that it sells this year.
That’s according to an analyst report from Bank of America, as reported by Reuters.
BofA analyst Scott Craig saw indications that Apple is planning a “significant production build” of the 3G iPhones in June, following a small one in May. Craig also wrote that his previous projection that 10 million iPhones would be sold this year may need to be revised upward. Apple had no comment.
