“New Rules” at HTSA
On the HTSA spring meeting’s final day, David Meerman Scott, author of the book “New Rules of Marketing & PR,” was the keynote speaker.
Scott stressed the need for HTSA members to reach their customers online, “These days its all about reaching the market online. It’s a new world you are about to enter. If you understand how to use the Internet you can drive buzz, new product feedback, sales and more. Understand the words and personas of your different customers and talk in their language not your’s.”
He elaborated on a variety of old and new words such as: Old Rules: Company’s Sell; New Rules: Buyer’s Find, as well as Old Rules on web sites: Tech and Design
