Android, BlackBerry Users Prefer iPad
A big reason for the iPad's continuing domination of the tablet market is that users of non-Apple smartphone brands prefer the iPad to its rivals.
That's according to a survey conducted by Maritz Research and cited by Forbes.
The survey found that more than half of BlackBerry users, when asked which tablet they would prefer to buy, chose the iPad, while less than 10 percent answered the BlackBerry Playbook. Android phone users answered at a 41 percent rate that they preferred the iPad, compared with the Galaxy Tab (19 percent) and the Kindle Fire (15 percent.)
