Android Hits 50 Percent Market Share
Google's Android operating system surpassed 50 percent of total U.S. mobile subscribers as of February, according to Comscore data released this week.
Apple was second with 30.2 percent, as both Android and iOS gained over the previous survey in November. Research in Motion dropped more than three percentage points to 13.4 percent.
Samsung led in the mobile phone OEM rankings with 25.6 percent- a number unchanged since November- with LG second with 19.4 percent and Apple third with 13.5 percent.
