Apple Eyes iTunes Kiosks
Apple is considering building and distributing iTunes kiosks, located in various public places, at which iPod, iPhone or Mac owners can plug in their devices -possibly wirelessly- for content downloads. That's according to AppleInsider.com, which discovered Apple's patent filing.
The purpose of the kiosks would be a "a virtual physical connection" between the kiosk and devices, providing a connection to the iTunes store.
The kiosks would most likely be situated in airports and train stations, among other potential locations. It is uncertain when the kiosks would begin to appear.
