Apple Doubles Capacity on iPhone, iPod Touch
Apple this week will release upgrades of its iPhone and iTouch products, both of which have twice as much memory as their previous versions. According to AppleInsider.com, the new 16GB iPhone will retail for $499- $100 more than the 8GB standard model- while the new 32GB iPod Touch will sell for $499, $100 more than the 16GB and $200 more than the 8GB version.
While the new phones will be compatible with Apple’s new iTunes Movie Rentals service, neither will contain any significant aesthetic changes from their previous versions.
