Apple will in fact in fact introduce a new line of iPods at its event on Sept. 9, AppleInsider.com confirmed Wednesday. The event all will also include "a host of other music-related announcements," the site also said.

The event will likely not include the company's tablet device, but will see an unveiling of the latest version of iTunes, along with the new music players.
