Apple Falls Short of iTunes Rental Library Goal
While Apple said earlier this year that it hoped to have 1,000 movies available in its iTunes Movie Rentals service by the end of February, the company fell significantly short of its goal.
According to MacWorld, the actual number as of Feb. 29 was 770, combining movies for rent and sale. The store came closer to its goal of 100 HD movies available; the real number was 91.
