Apple Hits “Home” with WWDC 2016 Keynote
This week, Apple is hosting some 5,000 developers from more than 74 countries at its 27th annual World Wide Developers Conference out in California. There, the tech giant will give updates on all of the latest software enhancements they’ve been working on and new tools for third-party developers that utilize Apple’s platforms.
Per the use, Apple kicked the event off with a major keynote.
CEO Tim Cook opened with a touching tribute, offering his thoughts and condolences on the senseless tragedy that unfolded in Orlando, Florida over the weekend. "We celebrate our diversity," he said, prior to a moment of silence held in observance of the victims and their families. "We know that it makes us stronger and moves everyone forward."
