Apple Honors Jobs in Stores
Apple closed all of its U.S. stores for 90 minutes Wednesday so that employees could watch a webcast of the company's private tribute to the late Steve Jobs. The event took place at the company's Cupertino, Calif., headquarters.
According to Apple Insider, white sheets were placed over store windows to keep the events private.
Also Wednesday, Apple began posting letters and notes submitted by fans of the company in memory of Jobs, who died earlier this month. The company said it received over 1 million letters.
